Sustainable Living In A Real Community
« on: May 23, 2012, 04:10:21 pm »
Some people can only dream it. Some people wish they could have it tomorrow. Some people realize that it is a much needed reality in our world. Since the USA is in a serious economic down-spiral, more Americans realize that the dreams of having a home will come with huge expenses. Most people will simply not be able to afford it anymore.

So how does anyone have sustainable living? How can you have a home that doesn't eat away every penny you have? Gas, Electric, Oil and Water Bills are just some of the expenses. Then there is the monthly mortgage payments. By the time you are done there is virtually nothing left of your paycheck and you haven't even started to buy food.

So how are you ever supposed to have sustainable living?
It really will require a completely different type of thinking to achieve this.
An attitude of I can, I will and let's do it...with NO REGRETS.
It will require a dramatic change in your lifestyle.
Now I understand that not everyone wants to leave the cities but the truth is they can no longer help people live the way they need to.
The infrastructure is breaking down quickly and the cost of living is outrageous.
Many people feel like they live in a prison now.

Sustainable living may require you to make some dramatic life changing decisions.
Example: Living in a small community away from the city.
Building a home that works for you and not the other way around.
Living with wind and solar power and being completely off the grid. Build a home made from re-cycled materials which are cheap and affordable.

Forget the mansion you just need to be comfortable, warm and dry.
Live where your children can play outside and still have a sense of freedom and safety.
Have a greenhouse filled with healthy produce. Free from additives, sprays and GMO.
Own a horse or two.

YOUR house will work for you and not the other way around.

It is not impossible. You just have to re-condition your thinking.
You have to be able to disconnect from all of those useless things you own.
I'm talking where you can smell the free air and have peace in your life.
A place where you see around you for miles.

This will be the new way of living for many people soon enough.
The cities are slowly dying. They are creating more harsher living conditions for many more unhappy people.
Maybe it is time to re-think your future. Maybe it's time we all did.

This community has nothing to do with Agenda 21 or the UN.
Instead it is more about a real community, real people and real changes for the future.
